Faure’s “Requiem” was performed in concert on Sunday at the Performing Arts Center at Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans. The two performances were seen by more than 600 people. The piece was written in the early 1890s and first performed in 1893 as a Catholic Mass for the Dead. The school’s music department made the performance a possibility.
