RODNEY JOSEPH VINCELETTE

Rodney Joseph Vincelette, age 62 years, died late Wednesday evening, Nov. 4, 2009, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington.
Born in Highgate Falls, on Dec. 11, 1946, he was the son of Joseph and Ruth (Bard) Vincelette. He attended Swanton schools and was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church. He was an avid Bingo player and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Rodney leaves his mother, Ruth (Bard) Vincelette, of Swanton; a brother, Jeffrey Vincelette, of Swanton; and a sister, Jane Scanlon, of St. Albans. Also surviving are aunts and uncles: Walter and Victoria Bard, Teddy Vincelette, and Jackie and Arlene Vincelette, all of Swanton; several nieces and nephews, including: Larry and Penny Shedrick, Mitchell Shedrick, Mark and Matthew Vincelette, all of Swanton, Tabitha and Koren Scanlon, both of St. Albans; and cousins, Richard Unwin and Larry and Judy King, of Swanton.
Rodney was predeceased by his father, Joseph Vincelette, in 1969; and his sister, Ramona Ruth Shedrick, in 1996.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton (868-3331). The Reverend Dr. Marguerite C. Gage will officiate. Interment will follow at the Vincelette family lot in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.
