The Desorcies

ST. ALBANS / GEORGETOWN, Texas — Allen and Pat (Ouimette) Desorcie, formerly of St. Albans and now residing in Georgetown, Texas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in St. Louis Catholic Church in Highgate Center on Aug. 25, 1962. Their attendants were: Elizabeth Hakey, Elizabeth L’Esperance, Joseph Desorcie, Albert Boudreau and Gordon Ouimette, Jr.
The couple were guests of honor at a barbecue luncheon hosted by their four children Lynne Cardenas, Judi Desorcie, Michael Desorcie and Sandi Vranich. The luncheon was followed by a mass of thanksgiving at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Austin, where Allen is assigned as a permanent Deacon. Guests were in attendance from Vermont, Virginia, North Carolina, Minnesota, Nevada and Texas.
Allen and Pat, along with their four children, have four grandsons, a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.
The Desorcies will be going on a Panama Canal cruise in January 2013.
