FAIRFIELD — Amy J. Persons and Benjamin N. Irish were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012. The bride is the daughter of Frank and Jeanne Persons of Fairfield. The groom is the son of Peter Irish of Enosburg and Carole Carpenter of Berkshire.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by Father William Giroux at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fairfield. Music for the ceremony was provided by Claire Hungerford. The maid of honor was Meghan Heald of St. Albans. The bride’s attendants were Erin Martin, Megan Branon, Chantal Persons, Jennifer Hayes, Levi Irish-Fuller and Jessica Latchney. The best man was Greg Playful of Fairfield. Ushers were Zack Sweet, Matthew Playful, Sam Irish, Jake Irish, David Persons and Eric Persons. The flower girls were Laura Persons and Elliot Irish-Fuller. The ring bearer was Kolby Irish. A reception was held at the Franklin County Field Days venue in Highgate.
The bride is employed at Northwestern Counseling and Support Services in St. Albans and the groom is self-employed. The couple will make their home in Enosburg Falls.
